Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the performance of economic development of a region (province or district/city). This data tool can also be used for other interests and purposes, such as as a basis for developing economic models in order to formulate policy formulations, the rate of acceleration of money circulation (velocity of money), financial deepening, tax determination, export and import studies and so on.This publicati on specifi cally discusses GRDP according to the expenditure approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditure, Non-Profit Institution Consumpti on Expenditure, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventory), Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, and Inter-Regional Net Exports (inter-regional exports minus inter-regional imports). The GRDP data in this publicati on and subsequent publications use the base year of 2010, and have implemented the concept of the System of National Accounts 2008 as recommended by the United Nations. To all members of the Publication Compilation Team who have contributed to the realization of this publication, we express our highest appreciation. Likewise, to government agencies and private instituti ons/ companies that have provided data support for the preparation of this publication, we express our gratitude. Hopefully, the cooperati on that has been established so far can continue and can be improved in the future. Finally, it is realized that the informati on presented in this publicati on still needs improvement. Therefore, any constructive input is greatly appreciated for the improvement of the contents of this publicati on in the future.
