Abstract

March 2011 CPI Combined Jawa Barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced deflation of 0.23 percent. Inflation in 2011 up to March (inflation year to date) reached 0.54 percent and mean during the last twelve months (March 2011 to March 2010) Combined Jawa Barat experienced year on year inflation of 6.18 percent. March 2011 expenditure group experiencing deflation was foodstuff category 1.76 percent, while six other groups experienced inflation, highest in health group 0.69 percent, education group, recreation & sport 0.64 percent, housing, water, electricity , gas & fuel 0.35 percent, clothing 0.29 percent, food, beverages, cigarette & tobacco 0.22 percent and transportation, communication & financial services 0.20 percent.
