Farmer's Term of Trade and Grain Producer Price in Jawa Barat on Februari 2009

In February 2009, the NTP Joint Province of Jawa barat recorded 97.33 or increased 0.28 percent from NTP in January 2009 of 97.06, this was due to the increase of the Index received by the Farmers (IT) by 1.43 percent higher than the increase in the Index Paid farmers ) of 1.14 percent. 􀀻 Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) for each subsector was recorded 108.46 for Fisheries sub sector (NTP-Pi), 103.40 for subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr), 101.70 for Horticulture subsector (NTP-H), 97.54 for Livestock sub- NTP-Pt) and 92.58 for the Rice subsector and alawija (NTP-P). 􀀻 In February 2009, inflation occurred in rural areas of Jawa barat at 1.37 percent, which was strongly influenced by the rise of the Food Supply Group Index by 1.87 percent, Food So up 1.19 percent, Housing rose 1.40 percent, Clothing up 0.73 percent, Health rose 1.42 percent and Education, Recreation and Sports rose 0.74 percent from January 2009, while the Transportation and Communications Group decreased by 1.53 percent.
