Abstract

In January 2009, the NTP Province of Jawa Barat recorded 97.06 or rose 0.11 percent from the 2008 Desmber NTP of 96.94, this was influenced by the 0.71 percent increase in the Index received by Farmers (IT) and the Paid Farmers Index (IB) by 0.59 percent The Farmers Term of Trade (NTP) for each sub sector was 106.54 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi), 102.66 for the NTP-Pr subsector, 99.46 for Livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt), 99.12 for Horticulture subsector and 93.16 for the Rice and Palawija sub-sector (NTP-P). 􀀻 In January 2009, inflation occurred in rural areas of Jawa barat by 0.76 percent, which was greatly influenced by the rise in the Food Group's Food Price Index by 0.52 percent, So Food by 1.52 percent, Housing by 1.19 percent, Clothing by 1.34 percent, Health by 1.42 percent percent and Education, Recreation and Sports rose 0.02 percent from December 2008, while the Transportation and Communications Group fell 1.52 percent.
