Abstract

In January 2025, Subang Regency experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) deflation of 0.35 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.99.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.42 percent; the household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.63 percent; the health group by 1.16 percent; the transportation group by 0.59 percent; the education group by 0.06 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 2.24 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 4.05 percent. While groups that experienced y-on-y deflation, namely: clothing and footwear group by 0.85 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 10.02 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.94 percent; and recreation, sports and culture group by 0.97 percent.
