West Java exports in July 2024 rose 11.05 percent

Imports in July 2024 reached USD 1.22 billion, up 14.28 percent compared to June 2024
Non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 reached USD 3.29 billion, up 11.07 percent compared to June 2024. Similarly, oil and gas exports increased by 9.13 percent.
Cumulatively, the value of West Java exports from January to July 2024 reached USD 21.31 billion, an increase of 0.88 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Likewise, non-oil and gas exports reached USD 21.10 billion or increased by 0.77 percent.
The largest increase in the value of non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 against June 2024 occurred in the Knitted Goods category amounting to USD 48.22 million, followed by the Machinery and Electrical Equipment category amounting to USD 46.94 million and the Vehicle and Parts category amounting to USD 46.23 million.
Non-oil and gas imports in July 2024 reached USD 1.06 billion or increased by 22.13 percent compared to June 2024. Then when compared to July 2023, it increased by 25.08 percent.
Oil and gas imports in July 2024 reached USD 153.99 million or decreased by 20.85 percent compared to June 2024. Meanwhile, compared to July 2023, it decreased by 45.40 percent.
