Jawa Barat's exports in May 2022 reached USD 2.68 billion, down 22.23 percent compared to April 2022

Abstract

The export value of Jawa Barat in May 2022 reached USD 2.68 billion, a decrease of 22.23 percent compared to April 2022. However, compared to May 2021, it rose 19.04 percent.
The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas exports in May 2022 compared to April 2022 occurred in the Machinery and Mechanical Equipment category (USD 122.27 million), followed by Machinery and Electrical Equipment (USD 117.44 million) and Vehicles and their Parts (USD 115.54 million).
The import value of Jawa Barat in May 2022 reached USD 1.25 billion, a decrease of 4.44 percent compared to April 2022. However, if compared to May 2021, it rose 34.58 percent
The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas imports in May 2022 compared to April 2022 occurred in the Machinery and Electrical Equipment category (USD 16.23 million), followed by Plastics and Plastic Goods (USD 8.60 million), and the Furniture and Home Lighting category (USD 7, 34 million).
