Abstract
As a proxy for farmer welfare indicators,
the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is obtained by
how to compare two indices, namely the
Farmers Acceptable Price Index (IT) with the Price Index Paid by Farmers (IB).
The NTP figure shows the ability to exchange (term of trade) commodity yields agriculture with consumer goods and services
for farmers' household needs
as well as costs for the production
process. The higher the NTP number, the more it means
strong purchasing power of farmers. Based
on the results of monitoring prices in 18 districts in West Java Province in
March 2021 West Java NTP has decreased by 0.77 percent compared to February
2021, from 99.85 to 99.08. The agricultural production price index (IT) fell by
0.53 percent and the price index for goods and services consumed by farmers
(IB) increased by 0.24 percent. In March 2021, the Food Crops subsector
experienced a decline of 1.80
percent; the Horticultural crops sub-sector
experienced an increase of 2.08 percent; subsector
