As a proxy for farmer welfare indicators, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is obtained by

The agricultural production price index (IT) fell by 0.53 percent and the price index for goods and services consumed by farmers (IB) increased by 0.24 percent. In March 2021, the Food Crops subsector experienced a decline of 1.80

percent; the Horticultural crops sub-sector experienced an increase of 2.08 percent; subsector

Community Plantation Crops experienced an increase of 0.95 percent; Animal Husbandry subsector experienced an increase of 0.83 percent; and the fisheries sub-sector experienced a decline of 0.05 percent.
