West Java Economy in the First Quarter of 2019 Grows 5.43 Percent

Abstract

The West Java economy based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the first quarter of 2019 reached Rp. 509.87 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp. 361.52 trillion. The West Java economy in the first quarter of 2019 against the first quarter of 2018 grew 5.43 percent (y-on-y) slowing down compared to the achievement of the first quarter of 2018 of 5.90 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Information and Communication Business Field at 9.56 percent. From the expenditure side, it was achieved by the Export of Goods and Services component which grew by 8.47 percent.
