Abstract

Production growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry in the first quarter of 2019 fell by 0.10 percent (q-to-q) from the fourth quarter of 2018. Production growth in this quarter was lower than the previous quarter which grew by 0.26 percent.  Production growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry year-on-year in the first quarter of 2019 (y-to-y) increased by 3.48 percent. Production growth of Micro and Small Industries in the first quarter of 2019 increased by 2.45 percent (q-to-q) from the fourth quarter of 2018. Production growth in this quarter was lower than the growth in the previous quarter which grew by 2.97 percent. Year-on-year Micro and Small Industry Production Growth in the fourth quarter (y-on-y) increased by 8.35 percent.
