Abstract

The economy of Jawa Barat as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in Quarter III-2013 reaches Rp. 278.86 trillion, while the GDP at constant 2000 prices reached Rp. 98.51 trillion. Economic growth in Jawa Barat in the third quarter of 2013 compared to Quarter II-2013 increased by 2.37 percent (q-to-q). From the field of business, the growth is supported by all sector. The highest growth was generated by the Mining and Quarrying Sector at 9.41 percent. In terms of usage, the highest positive growth occurred in the components of government consumption expenditure of 14.82 percent followed by household consumption including consumption of non-profit institutions (2.05%), PMTB (0.80%) and exports (0.22%) . Jawa Barat GDP in the third quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter in 2012 (y-on-y) growth of 5.65 percent. In terms of business field, the growth was supported by all sectors except Mining-Excavation Sector which grew negative by minus 2.54 percent. The highest growth was generated by the Transport and Communications Sector at 9.02 percent. In terms of usage, y-o-y growth was driven by growth in government consumption (14.25%), exports (10.05%), PMTB (6.44%) and household consumption, including non-profit consumption (3.89%). Source of Growth, SOG on y-on-y from the field of business that gives the biggest growth is the Processing Industry Sector at 1.88 percent. In terms of use, the biggest positive contribution to growth is the 4.34 export component percent.
