Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of hotels in Jawa Barat in February 2012 decreased compared to the previous month. Hotel TPK in February 2012 amounted to 41.58 percent and ROR in January by 42.71 percent. The decline in the star-rated hotels as a whole in February 2012 was primarily due to the decline in the number of hotels and 4-star hotels, while its 1 to 3 star TPK hotels increased. Non-star hotel TPK in February 2012 was 34.05 percent while in January was 35.28 percent. The highest TPK in February 2012 occurred in hotels with less than 10 chamber groups with TPK 41.92 percent, whereas in January the highest TPK occurred in groups of 10-24 rooms with a smaller TPK of 40.88 percent. The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in February 2012 for 3.21 days, and in non-star hotels for 2.31 days, while Indonesian guests only average 1.53 days stay in star hotels and 1, 37 days in a non star hotel.
