Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of hotels in Jawa Barat in February 2011 decreased 0.92 points compared to the previous month. Hotel TPK in February 2011 amounted to 39.96 percent and TPK in January 2011 amounted to 40.88 percent. The increase in star-rated hotels in February 2011 was due to an increase in the scale of hotel class 1, 2 and 5 star hotels and TPK for 3 and 4 star hotels decreased by 59.68% and 43.99% respectively in January 2011 decreased to 54.40% and 41.37% in February (Table 1) .In February 2011 non-star hotel TPK was recorded 31 , 18 percent while in January was recorded 33.37 percent. The highest TPK in February 2011 occurred in hotels with less than 10 chamber group with TPK 45.98%, while in January 2011 the highest RAW occurred in the same room group with higher ROR of 63.69%.
