Abstract

NTP Joint Province of Jawa Barat in March 2011 was recorded 103.05 or increased by 0.54 percent from NTP in February 2011 which was recorded at 102.50. This is due to an increase in the Farmer's Received Index (IT) greater than the increase in the Paid Farmer's Index (IB), where IT rose by 0.42 percent and the IB decreased 0.12 percent from February2011. Farmers Term of Trade (NTP) in March 2011 to the respective sub-sectors were 114.03 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi), 113.59 for the Subsector of Plantation (NTP-R), 111.88 for Horticulture Sub-sector (NTP-H), 97.54 for the Rice and Palawija sub-sectors (NTP-P), and 97.27 for Livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) In March 2011, there was a deflation of 0.20 percent in rural areas of Jawa Barat, which was influenced by the increase in the Housing Group Index by 1.00 percent, Food Group So 0.46 percent, Education, Recreation and Sports 0.23 percent, Clothing increased 0.22 percent, Health Group 0.09 percent, Transportation and Communication rose 0.02 percent, while Foodstuff Group fell by 1.00 percent from February 2011.
