Abstract

September 2010 CPI Combined Jawa Barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced inflation of 0.28 percent. During 2010 (January-September) inflation reached 5.10 percent, while in the last twelve months (September 2010 to September 2009) or "year on year" inflation of 5.41 percent. In September 2010, six out of seven expenditure groups experienced inflation, the highest was in the clothing category of 0.64 percent followed by the food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco 0.55 percent, transportation, communication & financial services 0.40 percent, foodstuffs 0.31 percent, health group 0.21 percent and housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel 0.04 percent, while education, recreation & sports group experienced deflation of 0.05 percent.
