Abstract

September 2009, CPI of Jawa barat (CPI 2007 = 100) covering 7 cities of Bandung City, Cirebon City, Tasikmalaya City, Bekasi City, Bogor City, Sukabumi City and Depok City experienced an inflation of 0.90 percent. Thus during the year 2009 (January-September) there was inflation of 1.72 percent, successive monthly inflation in January 2009 deflation of 0.28 percent next February 2009 and March 2009 inflation respectively by 0.08 percent and 0.20 percent, April again deflation of 0.23 percent and the last five months of May, June, July, August and September inflation respectively by 0.02 percent, 0.06 percent, 0.38 percent, 0, 58 percent and 0.90 percent. During the last twelve months or "year on year" inflation (September 2009 to September 2008) there was inflation of 1.87 percent.
