BPS Subang Releases Inflation Data for July 2024

The main tasks and functions of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) are regulated in Constitution Number 16 of 1997. There are three types of statistics regulated in the regulation, namely basic, sectoral and special statistics.

This was conveyed in the Talkshow More Closer (Lekat) with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Subang Regency Saman, S.Si., Head of Subang Regency BPS and Affan Afriana as Head of the Distribution Statistics Team of Subang Regency BPS on Tuesday (6/8) at Radio Benpas Subang.

In the talk show, it was also discussed about Inflation as a commodity of goods or services that has increased, while deflation is a decrease in commodity prices where people's purchasing power is reduced.

As explained by Saman, Head of Subang Regency BPS, based on the implementation in the field, the inflation condition in Subang Regency in July 2024 was different from the previous month.

In July there was an increase of 0.55 percent month to month this will have an impact on calendar year inflation from January-July of 0.25 percent or year to date and year on year 2.24 percent.
