Data friends, today, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, all employees of BPS Subang Regency held a Morning Apple.
On the occasion of this morning apple, the Apple Supervisor, Head of Subang Regency BPS, delivered a mandate from the Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information.
In his mandate, it was conveyed that since the last few weeks, BPS has not only been busy with routine activities but also the OECD Accession agenda. OECD (The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) is an international organization that works to build evidence-based international statistics.
organization that works to build evidence-based international standards and find solutions to social, economic, and environmental challenges.
The direction of transformation that BPS is currently undertaking is in line with recommendations from the OECD on statistical good practices. There are 4 major transformation efforts of BPS in producing various outputs that are very useful for the progress of statistics in Indonesia, namely:
1. Strengthening the regulatory framework
2. Strengthening statistical methodology
3. Strengthening the statistical business process
4. Institutional strengthening
To succeed OECD accession, it is expected that each work unit and technical team under it can play an active role, both through internal and external coordination.
